![]() ![]() To keep the madness going, they have to push CF to high levels and spam RQ's for goods. Top guilds have tried to partially solve the goods problem by restricting membership to VF+, but that's still not enough goods. ![]() So Inno has effectively tied their own hands.Ĭurrently, the only constraint on GBG is the need for 1+ M goods per season. If Inno turned around and did something sane to GBG like have only one season per month or three, cities that had been tuned to GBG would be effectively crippled. If you've tuned your city for GBG, you've eliminated anything that produces FP (or anything else for that matter) in favor of ATK/DEF boosts. If Inno slows down quests, it doesn't make the rest of your city worthless. ![]() You "tune" a city to recurring quests by having a high level CF (and maybe SMB for ages with UBQ). Why should we bother with a hollowed out-game, one with only fighting and/or trade as options?ġ) send a support ticket to customer service on Beta to complain that this is a Bug to be fixed, andĢ) post on the Beta forum that you are unhappy with this change. ![]() So it's a bait and switch in a way: for years Inno has encouraged folks to invest time, effort (and even money) to build up cities for questing, and now made those cities worthless. Questing has always been a recognized playing style in fact, Inno Devs themselves improved its speed because of feedback "In response to player feedback, we looked into options for speeding up the cancelling of quests, which should be a bit faster now." On top of that, it's incredibly dishonest on Inno's part. What use to take under 3 seconds now takes 20+ seconds.Įffectively, for those who do questing as a main or frequent playing style, your efforts to build up a CF, organize your city beneficently for quests, plan collections around quests, etc, is pretty much wasted. Those playing on Beta will notice that aborting quests now takes a couple of seconds to abort each quest: the button greys out and you have a very noticeable pause before you can click on the next quest to abort. ![]()
